This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) are, which ones this website — operated by Agupunt USA Corp — actually uses today, what your rights are, and how we handle them. To keep this simple regardless of which U.S. state you're visiting from, we apply the strictest standard found across state privacy laws to every visitor, not just to residents of the state that requires it.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. "Similar technologies" include browser local storage, which some parts of this site use instead of a cookie for the same kind of purpose — remembering information on your device between pages.

2. Categories of Cookies and Our Consent Standard

We classify cookies and similar technologies into four categories. Regardless of your state, we only activate categories 2–4 with your prior, opt-in consent through the cookie banner — never by default:

Strictly Necessary — required for the site to function (e.g., your shopping cart, and remembering your cookie preference itself). Cannot be switched off and do not require consent, consistent with every U.S. state law.
Functional (not currently used) — would remember preferences like currency or language.
Analytics (not currently used) — would measure how visitors use the site (e.g., Google Analytics).
Advertising / Targeting (not currently used) — would support ad targeting or retargeting (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing).

If we activate any cookie in categories 2–4 in the future, it will be off by default until you actively opt in through the cookie banner — stricter than what any current U.S. state law requires (all of them use an opt-out model for ordinary cookies), applied voluntarily so the same experience is compliant everywhere in the country.

3. What This Site Uses Today

As of the date above, this website runs no analytics or advertising cookies, and no tool such as Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or session-recording software. The only technologies in use are Strictly Necessary:

Shopping cart (browser local storage, not a cookie). Saved on your own device under the key agupunt_cart so your cart persists as you move between pages. Never sent to our servers (this site has no backend/database), never shared with any third party, and stays on your device until you clear your browser data or your cart empties. Does not identify you personally and is not used to track you across other websites.
Cookie preference (browser local storage, not a cookie). Saves your cookie-category choices on your own device so we don't ask again on your next visit. Never leaves your device.
Google Fonts. Our typefaces (Sora and Inter) load directly from Google's font server. Google does not set any cookies through this service, but as with any request to a server, Google receives the IP address of the device requesting the font file. Covered by Google's Fonts privacy FAQ.

4. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (health data, precise geolocation, biometric data, or similar) through cookies or tracking technology. If that ever changes, we will obtain your affirmative opt-in consent first — the standard required by nearly every state with a privacy law (all except California, Utah, and Iowa, which we exceed voluntarily by applying it anyway).

5. Cookies Set by Payment Providers (Stripe / PayPal)

To check out, you'll be taken to a secure payment page hosted directly by Stripe and/or PayPal — we never see or store your card details ourselves. Once you land on their payment page, Stripe and/or PayPal set their own cookies to process the transaction, keep it secure, and prevent fraud. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe and PayPal, not by us, under their own policies: Stripe's Cookie Policy and PayPal's Privacy Statement.

6. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Agupunt USA Corp does not sell or share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use any cookie that would require this disclosure today. We include this section, and honor the mechanism below, as a precaution and as a matter of policy, exceeding what our current size and activity would otherwise require under any state's law:

Universal Opt-Out / Global Privacy Control (GPC). We recognize and automatically honor the GPC browser signal as a valid opt-out request, matching the strictest states that mandate it (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Oregon, and Texas).
If this ever changes, we will provide a dedicated "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link and honor requests within 45 days, extendable once by another 45 days if reasonably necessary, matching California's timeline (the strictest currently in effect).

7. Your Rights

Regardless of your state of residence, we extend the following rights to every visitor, matching the broadest set of rights found across all 20 state privacy laws in effect in 2026:

Right to know / access what personal information we hold about you.
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to delete personal information we hold about you.
Right to data portability — receive your data in a portable format.
Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (not currently applicable — we don't sell or share data).
Right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects (not currently applicable — we run no advertising or profiling).
Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (not currently applicable — we don't collect it).
Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights — we will never deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.
Right to appeal if we deny a request, by replying to our denial email; we will respond to appeals within 60 days, matching Colorado and Connecticut's standard (the strictest currently in effect).

8. If We Add Analytics or Advertising Cookies in the Future

If we later enable tools like Google Analytics or ad-tracking pixels (Meta/Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, session-recording tools, etc.), they will remain off until you opt in through the cookie banner, and we will update this page to name the specific cookies, their purpose, and how long they last. This matters beyond state privacy-law thresholds: tracking pixels and session-replay tools are the subject of an active wave of federal wiretapping-style lawsuits (CIPA/ECPA) in the U.S. regardless of company size, so this section will be kept accurate and specific the moment any such tool is added — not left generic.

9. Browser Controls

You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings; doing so may empty your shopping cart. This is in addition to, not instead of, the rights described in Section 7.

10. Changes to This Policy

We'll update this page whenever what the site actually does changes — for example, if we add analytics, advertising, or new payment integrations. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
